I have questions that need answers.....

How long before the start of your IVF cycle did you give up caffeine and things you shouldnt have?

Does taking Fish Oil enhance your chances for pregnancy with IVF/ICSI?

Anything I shouldnt or should be eating?

Any other supplements I could be taking to enhance my chances for a BFP?

I have been on folic acid for over a year and just stopped taking them and started taking Pre-Natal plus vitamins.

  1. Hi there! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Good Luck with your cycle, it looks like our IVF cycle will be pretty close. Yours will probably start about 2 weeks before mine. As far as your questions, I never did give up caffeine until I got my BFP. I'm not sure I could have made my 5am monitoring appointments without it. I did start eating healthier, lots of protein and veggies to get my body in tip top shape. Best of Luck! I am now following you. I can't wait to hear about the rest of your journey!

  2. I'm a total OCD freak and we BOTH gave up caffeine, alcohol, etc...the beginning of August and are currently on our IVF cycle. I really need to start eating better now because I've eaten nothing but JUNK lately. I asked Dr. Val about baby aspirin because I heard that work and she told me that she'd tell me exactly what to take so right now I'm just taking my BC and prescription pre-nats. Hope that helps!
